Rapid Radiology's Commitment
to
Quality Patient Care
Joint Commission Accreditation
Joint Commission standards are the result of input from industry professionals and experts with the goal of helping healthcare organizations improve performance. Rapid Radiology has sought the objective evaluation of the Joint Commission and has maintained its seal of approval for years, demonstrating our commitment to outstanding patient care and outcomes.
Physicians
Rapid Radiology seeks only the most experienced and qualified radiology and cardiology professionals to provide interpretations to our clients. Once hired our team thoroughly reviews the education and work experience of every physician through Primary Source Verification. These efforts ensure only the most qualified physicians provide services to our clients.
Peer Review
Our physicians are monitored by adhering to our QA program and ACR guidelines. Our Medical Director and Quality Assurance Committee continually review performance through blind and quarterly QA review of performance metrics. As part of Rapid Radiology's evaluation requirements, we only hire LPNs and technologists to support our physicians.
Reporting
Reporting Rapid Radiology’s never-ceasing efforts to improve are evident in our detailed and concise reporting available to our clients. Our clients maintain immediate access to highly customizable reports through our client portal. These efforts offer our clients an efficient means to monitor the services provided.

Rapid Radiology
Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms
While imaging study demand continues to outpace the addition of new radiology physicians, new technologies utilizing AI algorithms must be developed to bridge the growing gap. Rapid Radiology has developed precisely this technology.
Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms have demonstrated remarkable progress in image recognition tasks. Historically, in radiology practice, trained physicians have visually assessed medical images for the detection, characterization, and monitoring of diseases. AI excels at automatically recognizing complex patterns in imaging data and provide quantitative, rather than qualitative, assessments of radiographic characteristics.
Rapid Radiology utilizes AI technology in our QA processes and procedures. Using AI reduces misreads and malpractice claims while increasing the quality of all reads. AI algorithms read and identify specific modalities to optimize radiologist workflows and eliminate false negatives. Through our 100% cloud-based software, powerful algorithms prioritize our radiologist’s worklist which reduce the amount of time it takes to read patient scans for critical findings and ensure quick and concise care is delivered to patients.
